The Desire Hype
Location: Holland Park London
Copenhagen Fashion Week is rapidly approaching, it’s next week and I am ever so excited. Press accredited is just so amazing, so I would love to thank again everyone who has encouraged me and supported me to get here.
In the heat of the summery days we’ve had on the South East Coast, I always venture up to the capital. London Parks are so great for atmosphere and chilling, it’s always lovely to be able to relax before the evening events or press days. Holland Park is one of favourite parks in London, so if you haven’t been, it’s worth the journey. The gardens are beautifully kept from Japanese styling with waterfalls, to Alice in Wonderland inspired giant chess board games in-between the greenery. If you use London tubes, I would recommend to hop off at Notting-hill Gate and it’s a simple short walk to the park. For those thifters and vintage lovers, Portabello Road is not too far from the park. What I love about London is that everything is sign posted and map’s are spread across the city for those thousands of explorers.
As featured in the imagery, my desire dress. I fell in love with my Desire Clothing white & pink dress which hugs my figure. The colourings of the dress complimented by natural tan which is another bonus to the item. It’s ‘that’ dress every girl needs who did not bring a spare outfit for the evenings, practical, light and chic. For these days in Portabello Road, Nottinghill and Holland Park by day, and by night the Jazz bars. This was the ideal dress.
Miss Guided Preview AW14
My OOTD: Burberry London Vintage tailored Co-ord.
(My key item of the evening^.)
Last night I was invited to view Miss Guided’s AW14 (Autumn/Winter collection.)I was so delighted and brought my close friend from home who is Miss Guided crazy. What better way to be?! I showcased my most favourite vintage outfit of my wardrobe, my Burberry London two piece set, which I hope to feature soon. Not just the branding, but the shape of the tailoring suit, material and colour. Burberry know’s how to create the perfect and most effortless tailoring.
I am a huge pastel lover and was so delighted to see it creepy it’s way into the next season, (as seen above in photos) Miss Guided have a whole collection of pastels to offer, from wool coats to co-ord sets! EP! Hurry September.
Last night really made me appreciate our English seasons. I am so looking forward to Autumn and Winter. Just waiting to pop out the long jumpers and winter boots. This event really did make me excited for a being an ultimate lover of summer. The AW14 collection showcased a variety of styles which can suit all persons, my star piece which seemed to be a massive hit to all ladies at the event was the beige, baggy boyfriend coat.
The shaping and colouring is divine. However being petite me, I decided it wouldn’t be flattering to try on the showcase item as it would trial behind me. ( I am only 5’3.) Caping it probably wouldn’t be the most glamorous look in front of the other bloggers, press and fashionsta’s. Unless you’re Kim Kardashian and can get away with anything. It was better to swoon over my future coat and take a picture to share!
Thank you again Miss Guided for a lovely pop in evening of Blueberry cider, music and sneak peaks into the new collections for 2014 Autumn and Winter.
