One of the most exciting times of year and something I hope everyone will be attending this summer, festivals! Not only music but food, local and fashion.

So I have released a favourite and fun look which can be easily achieved by all! Unfortunately this year I have no planned events for festivals but as always one will pop up in the agenda within my travels.

Firstly, focus on your hair. Messy and wavy, aim for that ultimate beach and non-caring look. For this, with those for flat hair, you can tight curl the underneath layer which will add volume, or simply curly random parts which throughout the day will unfold into waves. Adding to the look is the neutralised tones in your make-up. I use my clinique nude tone palette (featured in that beauty post.) They add earthy colourings and also can be messed up with dancing, without too much notice and still look great.

I love matching my black, floaty dress giving a dream like feeling with my gold capped boots and matching bowler hat for a more modern edge, all items were from fashion union! They have a desirable selection. The length of the dress add extra warmth and movement which is ideal for festive, summer activities to the breeze in the evenings.

Adding a matching effect, my feather festival head-band from Rock’N’Rose, complimented well with some extra fun. I was delighted on it’s arrival as it’s so beautiful designed and created! All products can easily be found within this post using the links above, both have a great selection if you are looking for festival related items or if this is simply your personal style!

So recently i’ve attended Company Magazine’s Style Blog Awards in Association with Miss Guided, it was a perfect evening of parting on the roof tops. From Missguided’s new summer collection, bars, DJ sets and complimentary food. Unfortunately I cannot attend their new, music event on the 25th due to being out of the country. But Company Magazine knows how to throw a party so if you are interested, you can purchase tickets here:

Was so lovely to meet so many wonderful bloggers and talent! Fell in love with the arty side of the event too, from temporary tattoos and henna from Seekers of Sun!
